CANDIDATES SPEAK Chalkbeat surveyed candidates in some of this fall’s most hotly contested school board races. Here are their responses, separated by district.

In Aurora, four of seven seats are up for election and only one incumbent is running for re-election.

In Denver, four of seven seats are up for election. All seven seats are currently held by members who support the district’s reforms.

In Jeffco, three seats are up for election, but only two have a challenger. The board president is running unopposed.
