Are you happy with your school breakfast? Take a picture and show us why or why not!

With many school districts preparing for the new “Breakfast After the Bell” law, Chalkbeat wants to show readers what’s great, not-so-great, challenging and unique about school breakfast across the state.

But we can’t do it alone. We need your help!

Whether you’re a food service director, principal, teacher, parent or student, you can help us show not only what’s for breakfast but how these meals get from kitchen to student every day. Show us how the food is prepared, the food itself, how it’s delivered, and students partaking in breakfast. We’re interested in your version of school breakfast, whether it’s before-the-bell or after-the-bell.

To see the kind of photo slideshow we’re hoping to make, check out this one from Chalkbeat’s launch on Tuesday.

To submit photos, e-mail them with a brief description to co.photos@chalkbeat.org by February 14 or tweet or Instagram them with the hashtag #schoolbreakfastCO.

The COVID-19 outbreak is changing our daily reality

Chalkbeat is a nonprofit newsroom dedicated to providing the information families and educators need, but this kind of work isn't possible without your help.
